Hello! I’m Alison
sewing professional
I’ve been a dressmaker for over 30 years, and since 2016 I’ve been teaching people how to sew their own clothes.
What started as workshops in the church hall quietly grew into a warm, friendly, little studio — and now, almost a decade on, I’m delighted to be moving Love & Stitches Studio into a beautiful, bigger studio in central Doncaster.
My friendly and welcoming classes have built a loyal following, and with my student’s enjoying my easy-to-understand and patient teaching style, their skills have grown.
It is my mission to reach, inspire and empower as many people as possible to sew their own clothes and build their confidence in fashion sewing.
