August 2020 Sew Along – Part 1 – Made my Wardrobe – Josie Bra & Pants – Fabric & Trim requirements

You will need:

• Jersey (1.5m wide) – max 0.75m – medium weight stretchy jersey
• Lace (optional) (17cm+ wide) – max 3m – stretch lace
• Elastic (1-1.5cm wide) – 9m (sizes 18-24)
•                                              – 7.5m (sizes 12-16)
•                                              – 5.5m (sizes 6-10)
• 1.5-3cm metal bra ring
• 3cm wide hook & eye bra fastener (optional – needed for making the short underband)

The designer recommends 10-12mm wide plush elastic for the bra and 10-15mm fold over elastic (FOE) for the pants. You would need around 3m for the pants and 6.5m for the bra.

(I think the lace for the mid size range should be 2.5m – I think it’s a typo.)

I will go through the sizing in more detail in the next video in the first week of August, but here it is for your reference.
