I know, I know this is the time of year when things start to get a little busy! There’s always so much more that we find we “need” to do!
Gary and I are hoping to be moving house before Christmas, so I imagine we’ll feel it more than ever this year, but we haven’t really thought about Christmas yet! For the past few years within my family we have given handmade Christmas gifts, which takes a little more thought and planning. Uh-oh! Better get on with that!!
(Don’t worry, even though we are moving my business will not be affected by this move.)
I know that come the big day, everything will get done that needs to be done even if that means that things slide off the bottom of my to-do list!
Don’t forget to fit in some time for some of the things that you want to do too! A few hours stolen away to do some sewing perhaps?

Saturday 23rd November – Friday Pattern Co Adrienne Blouse in Bawtry
This jersey top from Friday Pattern Company is a great first project using jersey and it’s perfect for layering under pinafores or looks great thrown on with jeans. I love mine so much, that I already plan to make another couple.
I love the casual elegance of this top, I feel equally chic lounging at home wearing it with a pair of yoga pants or out and about teamed with a pair of skinny jeans.
It can be made in a woven fabric, like mine (I used linen) or in a low stretch knitted or jersey fabric.
