Happy New Year Lovely,

I don’t know about you but I love the start of a new year and I’m especially loving this one!

The New Year brings such optimism and opportunities. A chance to turn over a fresh leaf and start again with renewed vigour and enthusiasm. 2020 is even better because it’s the start of a whole new decade.

I’m throwing myself back into 2020 with a one week Sewing School course which started on Monday with a fabulous bunch of students who are already soaking up all the new dressmaking skills they can as well as practising their existing skills.

It’s a fantastic feeling for me to see the joy and satisfaction on a student’s face that comes from nailing a new technique. Whether that is the first time they’ve sewn a perfect straight seam or mastering a spot on stripe or check match.

If getting to grips with dressmaking is one of your 2020 goals then I’ve got some courses and workshops to help you on your way.
