It’s a true full-circle moment - returning to the very place where my love of making clothes first began.
The new studio is bigger, brighter, and filled with creative energy - a space designed for connection, learning, and a little bit of magic. We’ll be expanding our timetable with new sewing classes, workshops, and community projects, giving even more people the chance to fall in love with making.
Over the coming weeks, I’ll be sharing more glimpses behind the scenes – from mood boards to moving-day prep – and of course, a proper look at the new space once it’s ready.

Hi, I’m Alison
To reach, inspire and empower as many people as possible to learn to sew their own clothes and to teach them the skills to make them better dressmakers.
I graduated with a degree in Fashion in 1999, and have spent years designing, sewing and dressmaking, honing my skills through bespoke dressmaking for a range of clients.
I started teaching monthly workshops and the classes and interest have been growing ever since. I’m known for my friendly and welcoming style, and have built a loyal following, enjoying my easy to understand teaching style and patient manner, their skills have grown too.
