Whenever when my 10 year old step-son Jack shows an interest in sewing I will encourage it and we will make something together.
This time it was a long sleeved version of the Made by Jack’s Mum Emi T-shirt, we started this during the Christmas holidays and only got round to finishing it last week.
I sewed all the curved seams and the neckband and cuffs, but Jack did everything else. He loved trying out all the stitches on the machine to decide which one to use for the hem. I must remember to do this for future jersey makes as I really love the finish of the stitch he chose.
