There is an atmosphere of fear and uncertainty in the air at the moment, which is only natural, but I am choosing common sense and love rather than panic.
Of course I am worried about the impact that the situation will have on my business and I want to try and virus-proof my business and do my bit to reduce the risk to everyone I come into contact with.
I feel that I need to talk to you about how I’m going to respond to the current situation with Coronavirus.
At the moment all courses, workshops and one to one lessons are running as normal.
- If you are due to come to a lesson, but are unwell, please do not attend. Please let me know and we will reschedule.
- All class sizes are small, with a maximum of 6 students.
- The cleaning regime has been stepped up and all sufaces, sewing machines, scissors and other tools, will be sanitised before and after each lesson.
- Washing your hands will be encouraged.
Current UK Government advice is to stay at home for 7 days if you have either:
- a high temperature
- a new, continuous cough
So if that’s you and your stuck at home for 7 days then it’s a perfect opportunity for you to do some sewing.
And if you get stiuck and need some help with your sewing, I’m offering 5 students a free 30 minute Learn to Sew by Skype call, so even if you’re stuck at home you don’t need to be stuck with your project.
