Last week I was telling you about what I’d been wearing and it was all super comfy and relaxed, well this week everything’s changed and I’ve been mostly wearing jeans!
Just before lockdown started I completed a pair of the Ginger Jeans from Closet Case Patterns. These had been on my “to do” list for ages and as Caroline (a regular Tuesday Sewcialist) was planning to make some we decided to make them together.
I’m sad that I waited this long to make them! They are just the most comfortable pair of jeans because they fit me perfectly. I’m planning a jeans making workshop as soon as we can get together again!
Let me know if you fancy making yourself some jeans.
I’ve got plenty of fab new things in the pipeline as soon as we are allowed, I can’t wait to see you all again.

Another thing that has been on my “to do” list since I first started teaching dressmaking has been to launch my own range of dressmaking patterns and lockdown is giving me the time & opportunity to do just that.
I’ve been working hard this week on learning the new software that I need to bring you my own Bagladybird – Learn to Sew pattern range. It’s really exciting and inspiring to be learning something new and I can’t wait to be able to share what I’ve been doing with you all.
What I’ve realised is that this is the perfect time to do the things you’ve always wanted to do, but whatever you’re up to, I hope you have a happy Easter weekend.
Hope to see you sewing soon,
Alison xx
